I'm Siobhan — an artist and art facilitator with a passion for helping young people discover their creative voice and take confident steps toward a future in the arts. With over a decade of experience, I specialise in guiding students through the process of preparing a strong, individual portfolio for art college applications.

Through my studio, Along the Way, I provide a supportive and focused environment where creativity is nurtured and personal growth is prioritised. Every student I’ve worked with has successfully gained entry into third-level art courses — a success I attribute not just to developing technical skills, but to understanding each student’s unique perspective, potential, and ambition.

My approach is collaborative and thoughtful. I tailor my mentoring to suit the needs of each individual, offering clear, constructive feedback that builds confidence, independence, and creative direction. At the heart of my practice is a commitment to creating an atmosphere of trust, where students feel encouraged to take risks, refine their work, and explore new possibilities.

I’m an experienced and passionate art facilitator dedicated to helping young adults achieve their goals of gaining entry into top art colleges. With a background in Fine Art Painting and over a decade of teaching experience, I specialize in nurturing creativity, building confidence, and tailoring portfolio preparation to each individual’s strengths and aspirations.

Since 2010, I’ve run Along the Way Studio, where I’ve maintained a 100% success rate in placing students into third-level art courses. My approach is personal, empathetic, and results-driven, with a focus on creating a positive environment that empowers students to express themselves fully through their art.

Adult Classes

This is a welcoming space for adults of all backgrounds to reconnect with creativity. Whether you're new to art or returning after a break, you're invited to explore a wide range of materials and methods in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Our approach is process-based: the focus is on discovery, play, and personal expression rather than producing perfect results. You’ll be gently guided through techniques, with plenty of space to follow your own ideas. Over time, you may find a medium you love—or simply enjoy the freedom of trying something new each week.

Art-making can surprise us. It can unlock ideas, shift moods, and offer moments of stillness or joy. This is your time to create—step by step, mark by mark.
